Kitchen jokes are really the height of comedy. Just after "Niggers gonna nig". /s

I don't understand why girls get so upset about going to the kitchen. When a wife /gf/ whatever says "Fix my computer" or "Fix my car" nobody claims it is sexist. I fix that shit because I am good at it. Women are good at making food. Next time a girl asks me to fix her shit, I'm just going to get offended and go "Fix your own shit". Let's see who gets hurt more, me without some food or her without a car.

Without food, you'd starve. Without a car, she'd take the bus. I think you'd come out at a loss...

More seriously though, to address to plagiarized reply (I've seen it almost verbatim on reddit), you are making some classic sexist claims. You claiming that all men are good at fixing machinery and electronics (which is a great thing to attribute to a whole gender! Unfortunately, it's very untrue) while all women are good at is, cooking, which while good enough trait to have on its own, is generally not on par with being a mechanic or an IT tech. You are also making the further sexist claim that women cannot fix their own shit. Finally, the "get back in the kitchen" command, is not simply claiming that women are good at making food. It's claiming that women should *only* be good at making food. You are claiming that computers and cars (and science, and engineering and and and...) are not things a woman should take an interest in.

All of this is severely problematic as an approach to gender.
